Clinical Consultation

Peer Consultation for Licensed Clinicians

Regardless of where we are in our careers, we can always benefit from consulting with other clinicians. Despite this fact, it seems once we’re in private practice—especially when fully licensed—opportunities to consult with peers become far more limited. Not to mention, a lot of those chances may involve fees or some sort of extended commitment.

With that in mind (inspired while listening to The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer and fueled by my annoyance at the MLM-esque feel of the field), I decided I want to start offering free virtual consultation groups. And because she is awesome and down for my spontaneous idea, Leticia Frazier, LCSW, will be co-hosting with me—as her schedule allows.

I hope these meetings will be a space for those of us who are practicing independently to get clinical consultation, guidance/ideas, and connect with others!

Associate-licensed clinicians and those not practicing independently are welcome to attend! (But this is not a replacement for supervision)

When, Where, and How Often?

2

Our first virtual meeting will be Tuesday, October 27th, 2026 at 12pm!
The goal is to meet monthly, but it may vary, especially with the rapid approach of the holiday season.

Who is this open to?

3

Clinicians seeking peer clinical consultation! While mainly geared toward fully licensed clinicians in private practice (simply because opportunities can be limited for us), not planning to have restrictions. Also, while hosted by LCSWs, not restricted to social workers—LCMHCs, LMFTs, etc are also welcome.
